Long-distance triathlons are my passion. While visiting a friend in Luxembourg, we started talking about our experiences and how important it is to have goals in life. In this context, my friend talked to me about Unity Foundation, its work and mission. Convinced by their actions, I had the idea of adding their logo to the jersey I wear on competitions. I know this is but a small contribution, but it’s something that I can do for the Foundation, so why not do it? On top of that, it’s an added motivation for me during a race, knowing that I’m doing it for a good cause.
During a marathon in Berlin, I wore the jersey for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised when one of the organisers came towards me to ask me about the work Unity Foundation does. It was amazing and he really liked this initiative.
So thank you! It’s really an added motivation to “run for good cause”. This is maybe only a modest contribution, but even the most modest contributions can make this world a better place.
