The event, which covers a route of 2 km, attracted many from Strassen and other communities to run, jog or walk. Of course there was nice food and refreshments to enjoy as well! The funds raised during this event came to a total of 9,172.50 € for Unity Foundation. We are very grateful for the support and generosity of the municipality of Strassen, the different clubs and associations who sold food and drinks as well as BNP Paribas, who was the official sponsor of the event. We hope to enjoy many more fruitful collaborations together in the future.

After the success of the Stroossen Wibbelt event, Unity Foundation organized a conference on June 6th inviting mainly the Strassen community to come and learn about Unity Foundation and the projects we are involved in. Unity Foundation’s president, Mr Fernand Schaber, gave a short presentation and encouraged a Q&A session afterwards. We were very pleased to welcome the Strassen Mayor, Mr Gaston Greiveldinger, as well as other people wanting to learn about ways to support Unity Foundation’s initiative.

On July 3rd, BIL had the opening of its newly renovated agency in Strassen. For this occasion, they invited clients as well as the mayor of Strassen for a small reception. At the same time, they decided to make a donation to two organisations. Unity Foundation, represented by Yves WIltgen and Abbas Rafii, was presented with a check of 750 €.
