Diddeléng Hëlleft – a strong partner

In 2020, Unity Foundation is once again very grateful to be one of the beneficiaries of Diddeléng Hëlleft. They supported our project in Uganda, led by our local partner the Kimanya-Ngeyo Foundation, with a donation of 3,000 €. Our long-standing partnership with Diddeléng Hëlleft is truly inspiring, and we are very thankful for the trust that they continuously show us and our local partners.

The efforts of our local partner in Uganda, especially during this current pandemic, are all the more important. Over the past decades, the PSA program has proven to be a tool to empower youth and young adults in rural communities to become protagonists of positive social and economic change. During this year, thanks to the PSA program, youth have been able to quickly analyse and react to the current situation and reality of their communities. With the challenges they are facing, specifically when it comes to the pandemic, they find solutions such as visiting families and raising awareness about the virus and how people can protect themselves.

Unity Foundation is not the only beneficiary of Diddeléng Hëlleft’s efforts. They raised an impressive amount of 86,112 €, which was donated to various NGOs in Luxembourg. Thank you to all those involved!
