May 13 2023, was an important day for Unity Foundation in Luxembourg: the day of the first “Actors of Change” youth gala – a network of youth who want to engage with Unity Foundation in various positive impact projects. The objectives of this youth network are to strengthen an understanding of education and development, to unite vision and to strengthen their abilities to express themselves, to organize and to collaborate in teams. Various activities were planned to socialize, introduce Unity Foundation and discuss the group’s future projects. This allowed the youth to get to know each other better and leave with enthusiasm and motivation to meet again.

The next project we are preparing for is the “Let’z Cooperate” event that will take place on June 30th 2023 at Place Clairefontaine. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in collaboration with fifteen NGOs, this event will aim to raise public awareness on International Cooperation, and more specifically about the 5 “P’s” of the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnerships.

Two weeks later, our second meeting was held to continue planning our contribution to Lëtz cooperate. Before going into detail in the planning, we read together an inspiring poem by the famous poet Tahereh, thought through it and illustrated it with drawings and paintings. The arts are always there!

Each participant illustrated one or 2 sentences of the poem and they ordered themselves in the order of the poem for the picture.
