Despite the unfortunate global circumstances, we desire to search for the silver lining, something to keep us hopeful. For Unity Foundation, this has come in the form of the outpouring contributions of selfless souls organizing birthday campaigns via Facebook and raising funds for the projects Unity Foundation supports. 

We have been humbled beyond words by how people have readily been willing to organize such campaigns and how they are able to mobilize their network to support them. During the months of March and April, 11 campaigns have been set up, raising more than 2500 € so far. 

In such times, where celebrations are canceled or postponed, and gifts are forgone, it is heartwarming that people find collective and creative ways to raise funds and stay united. This could not come at a better time.

The team at Unity Foundation wishes to thank each of these individuals and encourages anyone else who wishes to organize such campaigns. Just remember: a little effort can make a huge impact.
