Local agricultural initiatives: sources of resilience in the context of the pandemic, Luxembourgish and Ugandan perspectives on the 30th of June 2021 from 6.30 to 8pm CEST (online event)
Unity Foundation is excited to invite you to join our online event on “Local agricultural initiatives: sources of resilience in the context of the pandemic”, with Luxembourgish and Ugandan perspectives, on the 30th of June 2021 from 6.30pm to 8pm CEST!
This event will be an opportunity to learn about the ways farmers, associations, and NGOs in Luxembourg and Uganda have adapted their agricultural practices and helped their communities in the specific context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will explore how agricultural initiatives, in their economic and social dimensions, contribute to the resilience of communities (villages, neighbourhoods, groups of farmers, etc.)in a sustainable way.
To discuss this topic, we will have the pleasure to hear Joseph Lample from the Ugandan NGO Kimanya-Ngeyo Foundation for Science and Education, and Karine Paris, coordinator of Urban Gardening for the Luxembourgish association Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg (CELL). The presentations of the panelists will be followed by questions and answers with the public.
Join us online on 30 June 2021 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm by registering on this link: https://forms.gle/n7EXj8usFYEi39eU9
