Reaching a new milestone: signature of our first Framework agreement (Accord Cadre)
17/01/2018In October and November 2017, we continued our journey to different schools in Luxembourg to work with students, talking to them about education. We had the opportunity to do four more workshops in two schools, “Lycée Nic-Biever” in Dudelange and “St. George’s International School” in Hamm. The movie “Mercy’s Blessing” proves time and time again to be the perfect tool for these workshops.
The students in both schools, ranging from ages 11 to 16, managed to immediately connect with the story of Mercy and her brother Blessings, which then lead to very fruitful exchanges about the main subjects of the movie and the importance of education. The students and professors welcome this space to reflect about the subject of education, both in the context of a country such as Malawi as well as by drawing parallels to their own environment here in Luxembourg.
We will continue using “Mercy’s Blessing” to offer workshops for schools as well as organizing screenings in 2018.
