Unity Foundation wishes to send a message of hope and assurance to our supporters and readers during this bleak time. 

As the pandemic continues to cause unimaginable havoc on our lives and health, we find ourselves turning to stories that bring us hope and touch our souls. On one hand we are faced with how this virus has impacted every aspect of our lives- driving to a halt our systems of work, education, economic and domestic lives. Yet, on the other hand, we are touched to hear of the numerous acts of service and kindness around the world, the selfless actions, compassion and generosity. 

We cannot help to be moved by the sacrifices of the healthcare workers, how they are risking their own health to care for the sick. We hear about children sending cards to healthcare workers, pharmacists and supermarket employees thanking them and recognizing their services. Businesses who are forced to temporarily close are finding creative ways to make masks for nursing homes. We see videos of neighbors in quarantine around the world connecting to share music and spreading love and solidarity. 

Humanity is facing this crisis together, reminding us that we are innately equal and part of the same human race. Therefore we must have faith that together we will get through this with renewed strength and unbreakable bonds.
