Celebrating corporate citizenship in Luxembourg
25/03/2019On February 23, 2019, we were invited by the Schwebach children’s class to a check remittance. In the presence of their parents, the children made a donation of €314.20 to support our Community Schools projects.
In this class, which is offered by the Baha’i community, children gather every other Saturday to learn about different human values. At the beginning of this year, they have decided to be of service to their community by offering candle glasses decorated by them to the inhabitants of the village.
The children present the projects of Unity Foundation to their neighbors.
On a rainy February morning, the children visited their neighbors and presented Unity Foundation’s projects to anyone interested in making a donation. Wishing to support children in other parts of the world, they decided to donate the money they raised to our partners’ Community School projects. During the check remittance, the teacher explained how the initiative helped the children to deepen their understanding of virtues such as courage, generosity and compassion.
