11/01/2023Looking back on the year 2022
As 2022 comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude as we look back on the past year. So we thought we’d share with you in this article the top five highlights of a year that was particularly rich in events and accomplishments!
1. Signing our second framework agreement with the MAEE
What better way to start the year than by signing our second framework agreement with the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA)! Since 1991, the MFEA has continuously supported our vision and mission. Without their trust, we would not be able to support our six local partners. This significant achievement will allow us, over the next few years, to support the training of more than 5,500 individuals, protagonists of their own development, who are striving to provide education to more than 17,000 children, increase and diversify agricultural practices, improve human and environmental health conditions, and strengthen the social cohesion of their communities.

2. Visits to Zambia and Malawi
1. In front of the Inshindo Foundation national office in Zambia (January 2022). 2. Meeting of the parent-teacher association of Mtchaya Nursery School, Malawi (May 2022).
3. A week of workshops at Lycée Aline Mayrisch
In Luxembourg, too, 2022 was a year full of learning. As part of our development education project, we experienced for the first time a full week of workshops at the Aline Mayrisch High School, which brought together one of its classes with students from ENAD. Among these students, one of them then became a volunteer-multiplier for our workshops!

4. Restructuring our team
A lot of movement in our team this year! Côme and Yves left the office team and Mina joined us.

5. An exceptional week in the company of Dr. Lample
And we couldn’t end the year on a better note than with the visit of Dr. Joseph Lample, representative of our Ugandan partner organization, who joined us in Luxembourg for a week full of activities.

Our gratitude goes to the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, our local partners, our collaborators in Luxembourg, our donors, and to our many supporters without whom none of this would have been possible! We wish everyone a great end to 2022 and look forward to continuing to learn and collaborate together in 2023! See you soon!
