Interactive workshop and new connections at the Education Forum!
30/09/2021Unity Foundation will be at the Education Forum on September 24-25, join us!
On 24 and 25 September, Unity Foundation will participate in the Challenge for a Better World Forum organized by the Follereau Foundation at the Lycée classique de Diekirch.
The theme of this first edition will be the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: inclusive, equitable and quality education. To raise awareness on this topic, many NGOs and foundations will organise round tables, workshops, films and concerts to inspire all generations to take up these challenges.
Through educational workshops for all ages, facilitators will immerse young and old in the various dimensions of education to understand the issues at stake and become aware of the potential and role of each person to become an active agent of a better world.
The forum will begin on Friday evening at 8pm with a large round table discussion with specialists in the field, on the theme: “Towards a holistic and lively education?” The forum will then be open all day on Saturday with workshops, concerts and film screenings on the theme of education, including the film Ubuntu, which was first screened at the Festival du Cinéma du Sud and which you will be able to discover or watch again!
On Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm, Unity Foundation will run an awareness-raising workshop for youth and adults on the themes of empathy and responsibility. The workshop will be offered in English and French. On Saturday afternoon, we will meet you at our stand to learn about Unity Foundation, meet the team members and discuss our awareness-raising activities.
Whether you are a teacher, a long-time friend of Unity Foundation or just curious, we’d love to chat with you!
Unity Foundation is proud to participate in such an event. We believe that it is through such spaces that motivation to act is increased and collaborations for change can emerge.
So don’t hesitate and join us on September 24 and 25!
